We are a private Christian school dedicated to high academics, virtue, and integrity in our students. Our students, for example, test out on average 2.8 grades higher than the national norm! They also participate in various service and enrichment opportunities such as mission trips, field trips, service projects, and retreats.

Our desire is to prepare each child to be the best they can be through a quality spiritual and educational environment while keeping it affordable for their parents!

One way the school is able to offset the escalating educational expenses is through receiving financial donations. Our past fundraisers were a success due to the generous contributions of people like you.

Your tax deductible gift will provide Funds to keep our operational expenses low to give everyone an opportunity to experience quality Christian education Funds to expand and update current school playground equipment

Again, thank you in considering how you can be involved!

On behalf of all our children and their families who will be enriched by your generosity, we thank you! May God Bless You,

Providing the Truth
To provide a Christ-centered educational program which is based on the authoritative Word of God
(II Tim 2:15). To provide the students the opportunity to confess Jesus as Savior and Lord. “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Rom 10:9)
Modeling Jesus
To employ and develop mature Christian teachers and staff who teach and minister to the students, families, and each other using the word of God and modeling Christ-likeness in their actions (Luke 6:40).
Equipping the student and parent
To equip the student and the parents to live according to God’s Word and then to evangelize and disciple others. To teach the student how to study from God’s Word. “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” (II Tim 2:15).
Following the Bible
To follow biblical principles in all we do (II Tim 3:16 & 2 Pet 1:3). “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Pet 1:3) His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”
To teach the student how to research and to reason logically from a biblical perspective (Heb 5:14). But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.
Serving the Family
To serve the family and local church as they train young people to have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ (Deut 6:5-7).

We recognize the Bible as the inspired Word of God and that God, through the Bible, is the absolute authority and basis for all Truth.
With His help, we desire to work with Sarasota / Bradenton churches to encourage, to equip Christian families, to assist in their biblical responsibility to train their children to become Christ-like, fully obedient to the Lord, and to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives in the home, church, and society.
It is also our desire to help our students and families develop a personal passion for Jesus Christ.

Calvary Chapel School‘s vision for its students during their time here and long after they leave CCS:
We want them to have strong, genuine relationships with Jesus, not only knowing Him, but also knowing and loving Him in a personal way.

ccs heart

We want them to be prepared to navigate a world of ideologies in light of biblical truth. In order to do this, they will need to be diligent students of the Bible, accurately handling the Word of Truth (2 Tim 2:15). They will also need to be doers not only hearers of it (James 1:22).
They will be well prepared to interact in society in a constructive way, as those who deeply love the world with Christ’s love, without having that love for worldly things that God hates (1 John 2:15).
We see them living Gospel-centered lives, being willing to give up their lives in whatever capacity Jesus requires.
They will be well-trained, possessing both knowledge and wisdom, the right application of knowledge (2 Tim 3:16).
They will continue to be life-long learners who cultivate a love for learning and understand the tools of learning.
They will have a continued desire to grow in understanding, while realizing their limitations and the foolishness of the wisdom of the world.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, they will have a heart for God and others
(Matt 22:37-39), knowing that to be a servant of God and mankind is the highest height they can attain to. That pouring out their lives for others and wasting everything on Jesus are the two greatest “accomplishments” they can aspire to do with their lives on this earth. If they grasp this eternal vision, as we hope they do, their lives will be lived for the glory of God, rather than for themselves. This is the vision and purpose of this ministry.
And it is not a vision only for our students, but for ourselves. We may have high hopes for our children, but ultimately we will reproduce what we are, not what we teach. Therefore, our vision extends into the home and into the hearts of everyone on staff. If we are all–adults and kids alike–growing in our devotion to Jesus together, then we as a school will flourish and mature.
As believers in Christ we are more than just a group of families doing school together, we are a family within a much larger family spanning time, space, and eternity. We are an eternal family, and as brothers and sisters we have the responsibility to commit to one another, be accountable to one another, bear with each other, forgive each other, serve each other…all the things that God says in His Word we must do. Our desire is for a school community that is united in Christ with genuine relationships and genuine love, walking in the truth and the freedom it produces…the freedom for which Christ set us free (Gal. 5:1a).
